Crimson Cliffs High School--established in 2019 in Southern Utah--is a relatively new addition to the Washington County School District. Despite being the newest public high school in the area, it has already established itself as a melting pot for teenagers from various backgrounds and life experiences. The unique location, nestled amidst red rock and alfalfa fields, adds to the school's charm and appeal.
One exciting development in the school's short history is the creation of Write on the Edge, a literary magazine designed to showcase the incredible talents of CCHS students. First published in May 2021, the magazine offers a platform for students to become published writers and artists, sharing their creative work with the world.
Write on the Edge is a testament to the creativity and talent that exists within the CCHS community. It features a range of written and visual pieces, including short stories, poetry, nonfiction, photography, and artwork. The magazine not only provides a showcase for students' work but also encourages them to explore their creativity further, inspiring them to continue writing and creating long after they graduate.
Crimson Cliffs High School's motto is "Run as One," and the publication of Write on the Edge exemplifies this spirit of collaboration and support. By coming together to share their talents, CCHS students are creating a vibrant, creative community that fosters growth and inspires others to follow in their footsteps. Write on the Edge is just one example of the many ways that CCHS is making a positive impact on the lives of its students, and the community as a whole.
